Wednesday, July 16, 2008Adventures of Quinn, Louis and I!!! hahaha
Stat didn’t answer me. He went back to reading dusty thick volumes of books at the shelf. I waited patiently for up to one hour. Finally I gave up and went outside to get a drink. Quinn said Louis had gone feeding. After I had actually talked about his sins, our friendship had sprung a new angle. What did he say? About the letter.------- he asked in my head. I took a green tea can and opened it. Quinn took my cereal for me and stood near the kitchen window. He says it’s all right and he forgot already. I know he didn’t. His memory is so vivid. Everything a vampire would have forgotten he didn’t forget. I asked him if he wanted Rowan to talk to him. And um, is he pretending not to care? No reply. Maybe he’s so hurt.--------- I told him sadly. You did. Wow! So frankly. You all talk like that? Doesn’t Lestat feel intruded? Yea. Bratprince wants us all to be open and aboveboard. Though… he himself won’t answer all the time.------- jealous green and orange.---- it’s not fair Quinn was sympathetic. Don’t be angry. He’s not perfect, but he’s trying. I think the world of Boss. Had it tough going but, he’s turned out pretty polite. And he lost his maker. Did he tell you? Tell me? he blew up and refused to speak to me for ages after that. “Even snapped at Louis and Armand for talking about Him. So we don’t go there. It’s too dangerous.” The preternatural nodded. A thoughtful intense look on his features. “I see. Our past mistakes can never be erased. When you’ve lost your dearest parent, it’s very painful. Same for Lestat, he lost him. Magnus could’ve given him more.” Let’s talk telepathic. Don’t want anyone to hear. So, what about Rowan? I started on the cereal. What about? I wanna get them together. Is she free? Quinn smiled. Nope usually she’s tied up. Unless we all beg her to. Like, she came for the anniversary mona and I went for. Last year. Huh? That little time only? Pardon moi, is she anti social?------- I mused. Haha. You’re so frank. Sorry. It’s fine. Louis warned me you guys would be. Yes Rowan can be very cold. She likes to be busy. You know about the taltos right? Eh? You probed me! ------ I squealed. He laughed. Sorry. (sober) Ro doesn’t want to think about them dying out her work is important. It’s her life. She wants Oberon and the rest to survive. Image of the three of them, one a blond woman with a machine gun, the male one watching tv, the little thin one drinking milk. Okay. So she needs some fun. Stat needs that too. If there’s a fancy dress party, we can invite them to go. Like in dramas, you write letters to both parties without them suspecting. Then they meet each other, and you leave the scene. I know it’ll work! “Guys. Where are you?” someone called. Quinn closed his eyes. “It’s Louis. Over here.” The philosopher entered. He had cut his hair short, wore a sleeveless top. I updated him. We made a 3 way connection. It’s like broadband except we can see each other’s words and images. Discussed my plan. Lo: don’t want to be a wet blanket. Lestat is wary of trickery Q: Yea we know. So I’ll contact Ro, should be ok. She’s my cousin now. Me: cool! Then we’ll handle our ancien prince, but need time. Q: any new festivals coming up? Lo: a lot. Does Rowan like them? He sure enjoys them. He likes to go out together with people. Q and me: yea! (I laughed) She will, after I try to convince her some more. But Bratprince didn’t seem that enthusiastic on going, much to our disappointment. He asked, “Why are you guys suddenly interested in fancy dress parties? I’ve always asked but end up going myself. Nah.” Louis smiled, hugging him tight. Lestat shifted away. “It’s different. Anyone can go, there are chics and gentlemen going. Please go with us. Sil’vous plait, mon cher. Then I won’t be leftout.” I provided other details of the costumes and masks, to be rented. “You can even do those last minute.” I marvelled at our Great organization too. Why don’t they take your plan and suggestions when you want them to?! It’s the annoying situation of being unique individuals. Bratprince focussed on the remote control and it floated to a space right beside his cheek. He caught it and turned on the tv. “Comedy time. Wanna watch?” Aww Rowan will be going! Shall we say that? Then he will! Considering that he’s smarting from nil replies, nope I don’t recommend that------ I confirmed, with a blue flag. Lo, let’s not give up yet. Second try! Bratprince looked through his wardrobe. We suggested what nice costumes he could wear. “How many times do I hafta say this, I’m not going,” he said in exasperation. Glared at his fledgeling, then shutting the door with a vehemance. “Why? If you don’t go, I will be lonely.” “PLEEEEAse.” We kids whined, with most urgently contrite faces. Complete with begging posture. Louis took out the leaflet explaining the event and pressed it to his hands. “I’ve always gone for such cocktail whatever parties, only to feed. This month I’ve done my quota. I don’t need to. Spend family time at home. What are you going as?” I would be a phoenix, gonna get an orange headdress. Louis said he would be phantom. He was so hyper. Lestat withered us with his aristocratic bored- face, blank gaze. “I don’t know, I’ve attended many times.” Hint. “It’ll be different. Really! It’s welcome to vampires and other races, you can talk to other people, not just mortals.” Bro piped up. “Hmm you make me suspicious. Suddenly the computerboy and scholar who- hates- social- events- when- I- ask- him -to -go are enthusiastic. More than me. fishy indeed,” the blond mused, rubbing his chin. “I’ll consider.” At last. “Cool. Hope you will come! We – plan- I mean- there’ll be some plays too. Don’t you love them?” I replied cheerily. “Not by amateurs.” “Professionals.(named a few) And you can always level the field by acting with them. You liked to make me laugh when you did that,” his amour added. Softly, Lestat asked Really in his mind. Louis smiled innocently and held him by a long hot kiss. |
