Monday, September 10, 2007my birthday!JOLLY stuff now~!!! MY BIRTHDAY, 12 DECEMBER (forgot the year and everyone remembers me! Yoohoo) The weather was cool, little bit of snow. The ground was slightly white. But it was not a minus degree below something. Birds chirruped their song. Some of them look and scout for mates and food. In the day, I had chased some of them, for the fun of it, and looked for fish. I got Ron to cook it. That was the first thing I ate, am I proud I managed to hunt for my own. Yay! Bratp made it such a nice evening! I didn’t expect him to remember- he can’t even remember his anniversary or birthday. My friends planned stuff for me. A few days ago, both Ls felt that I should get spanking new clothing made. Lestat thought I always wore the same set of clothes over and over. Haha. Even Daniel and Louis agreed I ought to wear skirts, much to my chagrin! But I wanted tailored pants. That was what I told the people. (Over the past month or so, I hadn’t seen any sign of presents anywhere. Oh well, maybe not gonna get any. I don’t mind, just a dinner and a cake would be fine! Or if the vampires did anything, I certainly smelled no rat. ) There was a note: Hello cherie, we’ll take you out for dinner and movie today. Hope you’ll be home early! Stat and Lo I was concerned that Lestat would be exhausted. Yesterday, he had not come out of bed till 8pm. I regretted making him swear upon pain of death to be my slave. How do my pants look? The tailors made me my custom pants, brown, stitch patterns on a legging, sequins. Then matched with this was my wearable heels, together as a set. I looked at myself in the hall’s long mirror. “Wow! Sexy!” he boomed. I almost tripped. Stat laughed till tears squirted out. “When did you wake up? You can sleep in more,” I told him. “Never mind. I just went out. I’m healthy tonight ya know.” Tonight he was in a plain cotton shirt without the usual elaborate flair. “You are the star of the evening. I must look plain and… manly. Frills make me soft.” I smiled and thanked him for the bouquet he produced. Sweet fragrant blossoms. Um um! Louis waved timidly, totally in black that clung to his form. “Hello!” his hair was messed up, he had just woken up. “Happy birthday, Bianca,” they both said together. Louis turned a little red at his maker’s critical lookover. “Lo, get back in there.” “Why? I always…” “No I don’t mean that. You actually look like a funeral undertaker. At least put on something fancy, like blue, or orange. (pause) Ah yes! The orange tshirt you had!” Stat suggested, his fanged grin going up some more. My bro and me guffawed. Hey I don’t wanna-------- he grumbled. I agree with him, yea. Don’t send me off to the cemetery------ I said in a hurt tone. Sorry. Ok ok I’ll go change. “I wanna know something, would ya like to party till 3 in the morning? Coz I feel sad that I haven’t celebrated with you in the day. And I forgot you the other times,” he said regretfully. “ Part 2 could go on tomorrow.” I told him it was alright. I felt kind of tired as Chelsea and Kate had run me down. crazy shopping. Stat caressed my hair, resting one hand on my shoulder. “I look… okay?” I murmured. “Yes. Ravishing.” Louis came out with the orange tshirt and white slacks. He had cut his hair. Oh yea I had not realized that his hair was already short just now. His cheeks were suffused, human-like. You did that, for me?----- I whispered telepathically while Stat was combing his hair. Uh huh. You’re close to my daughter. And all of our kind love vanity--- Louis replied. We went out for a movie first, Mr and Mrs Smith. I loved the action plot. And the seats were way back and soft cushioned. Trust Lestat to know how to persuade the sellers to give those away, even though it was super packed. Next lineup: birthday dinner. A western dining place, I think it was Ritz Apple Strudel. “I shall treat. Order as much as you need, guys.” “Sure or not?” Marc said slyly. Unabashed, the normally stingy guy explained that his young uncle had just written him a will before his death. I marveled the old man could live so long. I had blueberry cheese chiffon apple pie after the 2 course meal. At this restaurant, if you take a 4 course meal you could be bloated. The portion is larger than a normal palate can take. How did they act? The vamps had cutlery, so they greased the plates when the waitress was not looking. Lestat nibbled on the peas, clinking his fork on the plate. Louis just scooped the soup over and over. My bro was ravenous, I let him eat more. On eating the ice-cream, I could not finish, a huge topping of chocolate nuts, vanilla and rocky road, Louis’mind yelped: gosh my teeth hurt. How can you stand such coldness! Aaah! “I think it’s nice, but, we’ll hafta go to the toilet later. My cramps will be bad,” Stat replied. He winced, had a green pallor. “Oh no sorry sorry. Want to go now?” I stood up. He smiled. “Not yet. Once I’ve emptied, I’ll be right as rain. ” I moaned at this imagery. Lestat chuckled. The four of us strolled for awhile, us letting our food digest. Louis’ hair regrew again, looking nice and brown. I noticed coz I walked behind him. Stat’s golden curls tumbled about with the wind. I had my thick fleece jacket to be warm. Yay! “Look, the stars! So clear tonight,” Louis shouted. We counted them out. Bro poked my shoulder. Lestat had run off. He came back when we browsed at some shops. Actually I wanted to get this rare classical collection cd for him. “How’re you feeling?” I enquired. Bratp rubbed his stomach. “A bit uncomfortable just now. Thanks. So, what’re you checking out?” “Just browsing.” Louis took him aside and whispered. Stat nodded a few times. It was almost eleven when we hit it home. Walked the rest of the way too, because the immortals want to feel their feet on the good earth. Lestat exclaimed, “Presents’time! excited? I’ll go take them now.” Very shiny flowery paper in rectangular forms. The first one was an address-writing book, fairies adorning the cover. The pages were waxed, crisp and sharp. I opened the front. On the for section, was inscribed: My dearest student-chic Bianca, Happy birthdayx3! I will always cherish your friendship. Thank you for overlooking my sins, and encouraging me on my search for meaning. May we always love each other too. Cherie, paramour, la plus plus elegance. – your ‘boyfriend’ Lestat So cheeky. I moved on to the next card. This one was a round one with a few balloons and ribbons. Dear Krystal, I don’t have any cute words to say. Wish you a happy& meaningful life ahead of you. can fill up this book with your own words. Maybe we’ll meet again, I promise, even if I go away, I will look for you again. –Louis pointe I smiled like a Cheshire. “I’ll treasure you all for eternity!” the second parcel was a set of new fiction stories by new authors, blue, green, white, yellow, gold. I flipped through some. “Hey when did you shop for them?” I asked slyly. Louis who was seated with a magazine looked innocently back. “I did. Remember, one of the days when you were out with us. I wanted alone time. that’s when I moved into the stores. These were on sale.” “I paid for them too. The other set, here, is mine. Hope you’ll like reading them. The woman recommended this for teenagers,” his love interjected. “ No pC games? Hahah, sorry.” At both their offended looks. |
